I have a Ruger MK II Target 5-1/2" Bull Barrel that I recently purchased a holster for. The way the front sight on the gun is angled back to a sharp point towards the receiver makes it a real pain to get out of the holster. I was thinking of grinding the point off or even ramping it towards the front, but after looking at it I realized that in doing so I will reduce the height of the front blade. Does anyone make an aftermarket front sight blade that is more holster friendly? It looks like my only option if not may be to do some welding, grinding, and then re-blue the front blade.
