Hey Guys,
Back again after getting my 2 new favorite guns - 34/52. Still can't get over the accuracy and build quality.
So..I dug an old Crosman 1377 pistol out of the closet but it is toast - needs a complete rebuild but don't think it is worth it - parts cost more than a new one.

Got searching for better quality and lo and behold found the Diana RWS LP8. Got some great reviews and sounds like it smokes 'em.

Anybody have any experience with this pistol? Good or bad, but if my other Diana's are any indicator - might be one on the horizon to add to the collection!

Thanks for any help

I love my LP8. I shoot it most at 10 meters and it is VERY accurate. The German engineering is superb, as it is with your 34. The pistol benefits from an aftermarket set of grips. It looks and feels better with the grip upgrade. The trigger is somewhat hard, but not gritty, and it is very predictable. There is a trigger mod that can be done to correct this. I am linking to an LP8 thread on another forum, if that's ok. If not, mods delete my note.

Here is a pic of mine with the walnut grip upgrade.

They are great pistols I shoot my friends. I got a ruger that shoots tiny groups for 66 bucks. I also have the Hatsan 25 which looks like the RWS is very accurate and compares to the RWS at 700 FPS. The ruger goes 600 FPS

Bill,
That it's really sweet. Love the grips.
Thanks for the review and the link. I will have to start looking for one.
Suggestions on retailer?
Might find one used if i keep my eye out.

Are they still made?

I loved my RWS/Diana 34, from when i could cock it to my first .22lr it saw a lot of action; and when it finally went toes up i replaced it with an RWS 34...however what arrived was made by Umarex, and it's just not on the same level as the Diana version was.
