S&W 57s

I have been trying to collect a set of model 57s for quite a while. I have owned a blue six inch for years and have been on the look out for a four and an eight and three eights inch.
Couple of days ago a friend handed me a nickled, P&R four inch. When I asked how much he replied "nothing".

Thats a first for me. Guess I owe him a steak dinner.

The biggest mistake I ever made in firearm collecting was selling off a 57 no dash with a 4" barrel. Most of the firearms I have sold I do not regret, but that one makes me sick to think about it.
