Just curious if anyone here has some trigger time on the M&P-10 2.0? On paper it looks great. Optics-ready out of the box, good capacity, etc. Of course, that only matters if it runs right. Any feedback on the pistol? If I bought it one it would be pretty much for woods use for camping and hikes. I'm in SW Montana so it would be mostly for big bears (we have the odd 900 lb Grizz and black bears, too).

Plenty of previous talk on the M&P 10MM here as of late. Run a quick search on here or the auto loader section and you’ll get some good feedback.

As for my personal experience, mines ran fine with everything I’ve fed it from range to smoking 800X loads.

Several great 10MM options out there, and M&P is one of them. Good rebate on them now.

I have one that’s fairly new. I couldn’t get through a magazine without at least one failure to feed. I installed a 22 lb spring, which seemed to have fixed the issue, but I had two rounds (1 fired casing and 1 unfired) get ejected during my last outing. I haven’t shot it since then. Maybe it was a fluke, or I accidentally got oil on the mag. The gun is soft shooting, so I’m still hoping to get it functioning reliably for hog hunting.

I also suck with the factory sights, and so do my friends who have shot it. I need to spend more time adjusting them, or just put a red dot on it.

I carry mine in Alaska. Runs everything from range ammo to bear stuff, with and without the optic. I'd say over 500 rounds through it, which isn't a ton but hurts the wallet enough to trust it with my life.

If I could only have 1, this would be it. Cheap optic is holding up okay too, spent a moose hunt out in the weather!

The Swamp Fox are about on par with the Sig and other similar red dots. Not Trijicon or Aimpoint to be sure but I have several and all holding up well.

I bought one last week and had some time with it at the range over the weekend.I put 100 rounds of my handloads with a few different bullets through it and it proved to be reliable and very accurate.I have a Performance Center M&P 40 that I really like and when I ran across the 10 I bought it.I wanted a 10MM that was a little lighter to carry and had a higher capacity than my 1911.It's a handy size and the 15+1 capacity means with the pistol loaded and one spare mag,I have 31 rounds available.Trigger was a little crunchy but is getting smoother. All in all,I'm very happy with it so far.
