Happy with mine a year into it. Has handled a wide variety of ammo, hasn't hinted at malfunctioning. Even let it get a little dirty just to see what happened, and it hummed right along without issue. I have the "M&P15X" model, with the Troy railed handguard and the Troy rear sight (fixed A2 front sight). I'm slightly snobbish about guns (not overly, I don't think) and the Smith & Wesson AR-15 has met all of my expectations and then some. I would still like to own a Colt next, just because... but I wouldn't rule out another M&P15 down the line.
