I purchased one last weekend at a gun show for 439.00, and finally got a chance to shoot it a couple days ago. I already had the pro model M&P, and think it was a good all around gun. On the pro, I did the Apex stuff and replaced the rear sight to put dots there, but it has been very reliable and accurate. The 2.0 is lacking for nothing as far as I am concerned. It uses the same mags as earlier models, fits the same holsters, etc...
I only shot the 2.0 at 7 yds., but accuracy was great and like they are advertising it is very adept at handling rapid fire action. I set out some 6" targets to bang away on and shot some good 2" groups doing offhand rapid fire stuff, just playing around. The sights were in need of a slight adjustment, so it shot a couple inches to the left, but I have since addressed that minor problem with a small drift of the front sight.
As I was packing up stuff to leave the range, I still had 2 loaded mags, so standing I rapid fired 34 rounds into one of the targets and tore a 2" hole on the left side.
I have to say I would recommend the pistol to anyone. I personally like the more aggressive stippling which keeps everything in alignment with no shifting in your hand between shots. It is not uncomfortable to shoot and is a definite improvement over the older models. I own an array of other handguns and have shot a lot of different guns over the years..but I could find nothing lacking in this pistol other than the slight sight adjustment.
