safari. Arms 1911 model

The local hock shop has a 1911 available for $595. 1 mag included


Large block-type letters on right side of the slide say "SAFARI ARMS". Grip frame has finger groove. Dark finish, doesn't look like bluing

Fully adjustable rear sight, ramp front

Any idea what model this is, and is the price totally out of line?

you don't want it, even for free..
Olympic Arms made them and junk if oft used to describe...

When you say "finger groove", do you mean the projection on the front of the grip below the trigger guard?
Near as I recall, they made two like that; the Matchmaster and the Enforcer.
Have never shot a Safari Arms 1911 so cannot comment on them.

Yes, the finger groove is part of the grip frame
