As a member of Samson Pro's Operation X, I had a chance to spend some time with their 3.5x magnifier recently. I'm a big fan. It has a bigger objective lens and higher power than either the EOTech or the Aimpoint magnifiers, and at over $100-$200 less than either of them. The RAM mount is adjustable to match up with whatever rail you're mounting it on, even if it is slightly out of spec. The flip to side is crisp and has no wobble so far. It is adjustable for windage and elevation so you can center up your red dot if needed. It also has an adjustable diopter so you can adjust it to your individual focus needs.
There are a few things I would like Samson to change up, like covers on the adjustment screws, and hardened hex head screws for mounting the magnifier to the base, but over all, I think this is a great buy for people who can't afford the Aimpoint or EOTech, but want a little more quality than some of the bargain magnifiers out there.
If you'd like to read my full review, you can access it here, but I've hit the highlights of the review. I'll be continuing to test it to ensure that the hinge doesn't loosen up too much as it breaks in and to ensure that it maintains "zero" through repeated openings and closings.
