I have a Modelo 1912 in 7mm mauser that is quite accurate but the irons are set at a minimum of 300 yards (mind you I live in Appalachia never gonna see 300 yards) is there any sort of accurate scope mount or way I can mount one to sight for my typical 100yrd?

If I recall it is just a variant of the Model 98 Mauser. There are boat loads of bases available for that at places like Brownell's and Midway. Call the tech support line at Brownell's and ask one of the techs to make a recommendation. Best if you seek out someone with a mill/accurate drill press and/or a jig to properly align the holes. It will require drilling and tapping the receiver to mount. Caution is advised when drilling so that the screws on the front don't go too deeply into the barrel and locking lug abutment. If that happens the barrel and/or receiver are toast.

What BBBBill said;....... Or if you are comfortable with iron sights you could look into a taller front sight which would let you zero at your typical 100 yards. Coupled with some sort of aperture, or "peep" rear sight which could lead to your accurate Mauser looking even more impressive by doing it without a scope. If 100 yards or less is typical then a good peep sight would be something to also consider.

One other thing, if it is in good condition and in full military trim (stock, hardware, matching bolt, etc.) , think twice about D&T scope mounts. It will reduce the value of your rifle. As 22250Rem says, there are ways to get better iron sights without permanently altering the rifle. If already altered, then go for it--the old Mauser Central website used to have a ton of information but not sure if they fixed their issues and came back online.

Here are some examples of Mauser peep sights at Mojo sights
