Shooting related name for new puppy.

My wife and I already decided on names if we have any more kids. Daughter would be Remington Journey, son would be Wesson (haven't decided on middle name yet), with my last name being Smith. I'm also kicking around the idea of 'Caliber' and calling him Cal. I'd have to get rid of my car before we did that though, seeing as how I drive a Dodge Caliber.

My grandkids' lead-gray cat is named Bullet. My three-year-old granddaughter pronounces it Bool-it.

I'm resurrecting this thread because I am getting a new puppy.

Our first female American Bulldog, so it kinda has to be a feminine name. She's five days old, so we have a few weeks or so to decide.

The wife likes Remington, but I was saving that for my daughter.
A couple already posted in the thread that that I liked were Calamity Jane and R. Lee

I also like Artillery, Arisaka, Kalishnakov (calling her Kali).

I named a beagle Ruger 'cuz I got him and a Mini-14 on the same weekend. When he got old, we got him a cocker spaniel buddy that my wife -- my wife -- named Winchester officially, but we always called him Chester. Our current dog, Tara, is gun-shy of all things. Probably a result of not naming her properly early in life. :p
Since we're thinking of getting her a young friend to raise properly for us, this has been a most entertaining thread.
