As some of you know I have been unable to shoot hardly at all since an accident 2 years ago. Today a good friend enticed me to go shooting. I brought my old CZ 452 Lux, he brought a CZ 457 At ONE, a CZ 457 MTR, a Styer, and a Cooper. All his rifles were beautiful and accurate. My 452 held it's own though.
Top Left, CZ 452, next 457 MTR, second row left side 457 At ONE, next below left, Styer, bottom left Cooper.
Various ammo at 50 yards. Not really a fair accuracy test but each was a joy to shoot. Forgot to take a picture of all the rifles

The interesting thing to me is that there was not a big difference in accuracy. The CZ AT ONE shot slightly better but could have been ammo, shooter's ability or luck. To me not enough difference to justify spending the price of the Cooper or any of them. I am probably at my maximum accuracy with any rifle. Except I do a little bit better with my 540 XR.

Ya never know. Years ago I bought a $500 Meuci pool cue and immediately went from lousy to below average. With practice I made it all the way up to slightly above average. A Cooper might be all you need to go from really good shooting to needing a high speed camera to prove there were actually 5 bullets through that little hole.

Glad you were able to get out there!

Very nice! I have a couple of nice .22s (including a customized CZ) but nothing like a cooper.
A Cooper is on my list of will owns, but its waaaayyyy down the list because of all the extras I want adding to an already luxury purchase.

Some beautiful groups. Really nice rifles. From my experiences I have found that ammo can be critical for good accuracy at 50 yrds. The weird thing for me was that my Win 52B Sporter shot some pretty cheap stuff better than some of the high end stuff. I didn't expect that. Keep up the good work, keep shootin because 22 ammo is around 6.1 cents a round before shipping at a couple of places on Ammoseek Thats not a bad price and it lets us shoot cheap and stay sharp.

A friend really likes his CZ rifle in .22 LR. I've forgotten which model.
Some unusual context here: he grew up in industrial Essen Germany, which had been the center of German arms manufacturing for hundreds of years (until we destroyed it) -- and despite 'German pride' -- he chose a Czech .22 ----;)

If I were to want another rifle in .22LR (mine is a Savage from the 50s), I literally would buy a CZ 'sight unseen' as I just did with a First pair of Steiner binoculars.

With my third CZ handgun and a Czechpoint VZ-58 rifle, there would be no doubts about a CZ rifle's quality.
I'm not kidding --- " Nedelam si srandu.".
