The M629 Classic series offers a 5" full lug barrel. Order the barrel, have a smith cut the lug down and fit the barrel. S&W Performance Center might could do that too.I want a Smith and wesson 629 half lug with a 5 inch barrel.
They never existed so who can make this possible?
Agreed. The term "half lug" grates on my nerves. It's an ejector shroud.FWIW, the "half lug" is not a lug but a shroud for the extractor rod. It's a different shape from the lug.
Because you can’t just unpin the base on his629. Would have to be cut off and glued or soldered back on the shortened barrel.Why not?
