Post your predictions on things that will be unveiled at SHOT here.

My predictions are:

-Ruger will unveil a pink model of the 22/45 Lite

-Colt will make it rain dollar bills around their booth in celebration of making it out of chapter 11 bankruptcy.

-Hi Point will announce and show their first model of a 10mm pistol.

-Kel Tec will reveal their first ever revolver. It will be designed for concealed carry, will be a polymer framed DA/SA 5 shot BUT it will not have a swing out cylinder. Instead, it will have a loading gate and will be chambered in .38 Special and will also have a 9mm conversion cylinder.

Kimber revolver.

Maybe a case feed for the RCBS pro chucker 5 & 7.

RE: VP9 SK - there is a thread over on the hkpro forums that discusses the testing of such in Germany. Seems likely.

Glock will expand the MOS line to include several full size and compact models. Everyone will complain that there's no single-stack .40. If they do release a single-stack .40, three people will complain that it isn't a .357 SIG and two more will complain that it isn't a 10mm.

H&K will unveil either the VP9SK or the VP45. Everyone will complain that they didn't release the other one, and that there isn't a compact model. They will also show the P30SK in .40, but no one will notice.

S&W will announce the second-generation M&P. Everyone will complain that the triggers still suck.

It will have the first half of Atlas Shrugged engraved on it's side.

On closer examination they will turn out to be Zimbabwean Dollars. This expense will still drop Colt stock 15%

-Hi Point will announce and show their first model of a 10mm pistol.
It will be straight blowback. The slide will weigh 7.8 lbs.

After spurring much interest, This gun will hit dealers in time for Christmas......of 2021.

Updated your predictions with my predictions.

I wish: Ruger will announce a 4" CRX in 9mm and a Ruger American rifle in .357 and .44 magnum. Then Leupold would make a rock-steady, dead-nutz sturdy, simple 4x scope

and everyone will put out a new model of striker fired duty pistols that have 'competition-ready' features and are so flippin' ugly Glock is starting to look pretty

Kel Tec RDB in either Grendel (as previously promised), Blackout, or FDE

I predict mostly boring derivatives of existing guns; colors, chamberings, new rail-upon-rail configurations.

Possibly a rail-upon-rail-upon-rail configuration will come out (quad-rail scope rings, maybe?)

This site has some products confirmed to be introduced at SHOT, along with a few unconfirmed rumors.

Interesting link - but Colt is showing it's mismanagement again.

One of the models shown is the Colt "Competition" Pistol . . . available in .45 ACP and 9mm Luger. Any competition pistol should be available in .40S&W as an option and Bomar-style sights would be better than Novak - even if the Novaks are adjustable.

The S&W Victory .22 does look good to me - and the Springfield XD Mod 2 at least is visually more attractive than the old version.

Also combined with what's already out there is getting ready to be a LOT of rifles availble in 6.5 Creedmore. Certainly looks interesting - if the cartridge takes off I'd like to have one but I'm always leary to jump onto any new cartridge.

That right there is funny! And probably true.

What if I told you it ISN'T a blowback pistol?

If someone would do a lever action in 327, I'd be all over them both.
I don't think anyone is going to bother with a .327 lever rifle until well after the cartridge has been proven popular. The cartridge hasn't even taken off yet in revolvers and the only company that's currently making new .327's is Ruger. Unless Ruger does it themselves, we are at least 5 years away from the likes of Henry, Marlin, or Rossi making a .327 lever gun.

At least, in my estimation that is.

I believe the 6.5 Creedmore will take off. It has the low recoil people like, great range and accuracy, and it's not exorbitantly expensive like .338 or other boutique calibers.

It never hurts to wait and feel things out, but new rifle calibers generally have better staying power than new handgun calibers. If you reload, you have nothing to worry about.

If Winchester added 6.5 CM to their lineup, I'd probably have an order for an extreme weather in before SHOT was over. As it is, it looks like they are just making a couple pricey 150 year commemorative lever guns.

Glock has not introduced anything new since 1982 and HK's will have 1000's of people at their booth, but less than 100 that actually own any HK's....

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it"

But then again people would pretty strongly contest your statement that Glock hasn't introduced anything new since 1982 lol. Hyperbole gonna hyperbole

I think the 6.5 Creedmoor HAS "taken off", at least among those shooters who have a use for a good medium caliber. Where else are you going to find ammo with the factory equivalent load data printed on the box?
