Post your predictions on things that will be [at] SHOT...

My predictions are:

The ghost of (the late, great! may he R.I.P.) Lt. Col. J.D. "Jeff" Cooper will make the rounds, asking the admittedly-unpopular question, "What is this for?"
.

Another 'great new one of a kind rifle that lets you change calibers in minutes!'

I'm sure Ruger will be doing their new suppressor thing.

I wish GSG would hurry up with their new production of MP40's in 9 silly meter that they were talking about last year, but I'd guess it's still a ways off if they even do it.

Probably more bump fire triggers..

Maybe SilencerCo will come out with a new Wizard staff suppressor. Longer! Better! The GRAND Wizard Staff! :D

But then again people would pretty strongly contest your statement that Glock hasn't introduced anything new since 1982 lol. Hyperbole gonna hyperbole

Shrinking, stretching and thinning the same thing counts as new?

Anybody know anything about Smith and Wesson? I see they told their investors they would release a next generation pistol for the MHS project which is due the end of January so I would have thought they would introduce it here but I have not seen anything yet about it.

The only thing I've seen at SHOT S&W related was a new .22 pistol that's clearly a copy of the Ruger Mk III.

A little disappointed in this year's show - the only thing even mildly interesting (to me at least) was the Kimber revolver. I had hoped for more.

If it weren't for the fact that they are completely different, you would have a point here. Though, I guess if you ignore the esay take down, easy barrel swap, the rubber changeable grips, the safety, the non-painful bolt grips, the square bolt and the square action and the adjustable trigger stop, they are pretty similar.

It was very underwhelming. The Kimber revolver, the KSG with the reduced length magazine tubes making a conversion to an SBS easy as sawing the barrel down, CCI coming out with pistol shotshells loaded with #4 shot, and Magpul's new 9mm mags were the most interesting things that came out of this show.

Every other thing I read online was 1911 with polymer frame. 1911 with a rail. 1911 with a special engraving of your woman's dimensions. It's like there's not enough 1911's on the market.

The National Shooting Sports Foundation will present President Obama (in absentia) with a lifetime achievement/special recognition award for "services to the economic benefit of the firearms industry". The statue, in black cerakote, of the President holding an AR15 in one hand and a generic polymer semi auto pistol in the other will read: "Barrack Hussein Obama: Greatest Gun Salesman Since Sam Colt".

A smaller brass bust of Joe Biden wearing an Elmer Fudd hat will be awarded to the Vice President reading "To Shotgun Joe. All the best from the NSSF."

^^^^^^^^ HA!

Not too much interesting at SHOT for me either this year. Seemed like a lot of pricey ARs and new redundant AR parts.

Nosler introduced the 30 Nosler.

So....yea. That's about the most exciting thing other than Kimber's revolver.
