I have a gun room for my handguns. I actually have quite a few more, these are the 45 caliber models.

As far as the EFS goes, I do love it. I think its about the best 1911 you can buy under $500. In fact, I like it better than the Taurus and that was almost $100 more.

I vote we kick bac1023 off the board unless he redistributes some of his 1911 wealth!! hehe you are one lucky man. So I think I'm finally starting to really see some of my kimber finish wear off, personally I don't care how it looks but is it going to negatively impact the longevity of my firearm? What would be good to coat it in till I get some $$$ and when I finally do get some $$$ to refinish it?

The .44mag is actually a .429, while 45ACP is .451.

The difference is bigger than most think.
