Remington 7LS in .308, stock trigger lightened to 3lbs, Bushnell 3200 Elite scope on see through rings so you can use iron sights, slung for cross body carry and supported fire in any position. Excellent accuracy at 300yds--haven't shot it farther, but it's light and easy to carry all day.

Mossberg ATR-100 in .30-06, Simmons 3-9x50 "Blazer" series scope in Leupold Rifleman Hi-Rise rings.

Had to have the tall ones so the scope would clear the barrel

I'll have to shoot another picture of the rifle itself. It's an accurized Remington 700 VSSF in .308 with a Leupold Vari-X III 3.5-10x40 LRT M1 scope mounted in Badger Ordnance rings and base, Harris bi-pod. In the upper pic, I'm resting it on a camera tripod. The group in the lower pic was shot with this rifle: five shots at 100 yards, from prone.

6mm Remington, Boyd's thumbhole stock, mauser action, Timney trigger.

It's sitting at home right now waiting for the glass bedding to set.

Again, none of them are privately owned. Matter of fact, since I sold my PTR-91, I've been lacking in the department of long range rifles. I inted to fix that but, since funds are very limited, I haven't decided exactly how to do it. Also, I'd like to get a couple more EBRs before '08. Just in case.

The first is my friend Diego and his burritogun. When that guy eats burritos, the whole line can tell! Phew!

The second is my Browning M1919. Hey, it's not all that accurate, but the sights go out to 1800 yards. That counts as long-range, right?

They won't shoot ragged hole groups, but they will reach out and touch something.

Here's another contribution to the .50s. Its an Armalite AR-50 with a Nightforce NXS 8-32x56 NP-R2 in Smith Enterprises rings, and it technically belongs to my brother. He's been in Iraq for the past year so he only got to shoot it when he got back on midtour, but we have his blessing to make sure it doesn't collect dust. I've only shot it out to 1200 yards, but the optics are so good and the platform is so stable (40+ pounds!) that with the correct dial in on elevation and the right wind and mirage conditions, I could probably do 2000 yards with a little practice. My bro put the 50 MOA base on it specifically so he'd have enough internal adjustment to aim dead on at that range.

I have a Rem M700 BDL 7mm Rem Mag with a Leupold on it that just got bedded. It has a shooting sling on it and can do MOA or better with 160 gr Nosler handloads, but it is so plain jane I just never got pics of it. Nothing special, just a really good hunting rifle. But this is my dad's new hunting rifle:

Rem M700 ADL action
Lilja stainless fluted #5, 30 inches 1:10 twist, .338 Remington Ultra Mag
McMillan stock
Leupold VX-III 4.5-14x50

338withorange.gif

It comes in a little heavier than your normal sporter, but not much, and balances surprisingly well. It swings offhand more like a shotgun than a rifle. My first two rounds through it were offhand at a hanging tie plate at 100 yards, and both hit. And from that position, recoil is very managable too. He's getting over 3000 fps from a 250 gr MatchKing, and hasn't even hit max with most of his loads.

MTMilitiaman your bro. has a nice ar-50 there. how do you like the scope? Thats the same one thats going on my .50 this winter. I am pumped.

do you guys reload .50 too? I am only a few parts shy of reloading. I need a scale, tumbler, and components. should be fun shooting next summer
