Pre-agreement Smith & Wesson model 60 with Badger laminated stocks—ugly, but comfortable and durable—and Magnaport bead blasting, barrel crowning and porting, and hammer and trigger jewelling. There are those who'll tell you I've lost my marbles, but in fact, I haven't—yet.

Here's my nickel S&W 38, I don't carry it much anymore but it's still one of my favorites.

Marshall,

Was the quote -

"I'm not going to fire a $2 million missile at a $10 empty tent and hit a camel in the butt." —President Bush

- Bush senior or GW. Sounds like someting from George senior's generation - but if from GW - more the reason to get my vote in November.

Of course - after paying nearly what I paid for my first house in federal taxes last year - anyone that's doing something to lower my taxes gets my vote.

Here's mine.

S&W 342PD. Just picked it up. I've wanted one for a while, and when I heard they're discontinued, I decided now was the time to get one.

You all have really flogged out some dang nice pics of even nicer small revolvers, keep em coming! I am buying in a few days.

For you SP-101 folks, do you find the gun too heavy for daily carry?

Thanks

For pocket carry it is very heavy.

I do grab it and put it in my jacket pocket when I'm walking the dog.

Great grips on that SP101! Where did you get them?

Agree with Jeep ... for pocket it is too heavy .. unless maybe you have a mega thick and heavy coat.

However ... when I have mine in its usual OWB Jim Burke hi-ride pancake ... I hardy know its there .. apart from the delightfully reassuring gentle pressure of the grip against my lower ribs.:p

I don't personally favor lightweights for snubby revo's.

JeepDriver.....I got the grip panels from Lettgrips, they supply ruger with all their grips, they add a little palm swell and are very comfortable.....

Yeah the sp101 is kinda heavy, but I like the little beast. When I hike it goes in an uncle mikes small belly bag and ya hardly know its there, other times it rides nicely on the belt. I like my 442 airweight too but I don't have any pics of it yet, and I have a 642 coming that I just sent payment and FFL for. Snubbies rule!!!!
this pic shows the smoothed down hammer spur and xs front sight......tom

Perfessr -- ha, thought I was the only person to use speedstrips with a 940. :D I went back to clips because there was going to be no way to eject the ones I loaded from the speedstrip.
