This one has dozens of plaintiffs, many LEO, and a list of at least 60 "uncommanded discharges." There also seems to be the suggestion that none of the "uncommanded discharges" involves the p320 version with the thumb safety. I like Sig handguns and own several of them but I'm starting to get the Remington 700 vibe regarding the p320.

Here's a link to the (very detailed 143 page) lawsuit itself: https://bit.ly/3ORBTS8

I’m curious how many 60 is compared to the number that are in service.

Didn’t Glock have similar problems?

I don't understand the definitive cause of the "un-commanded" discharges, with the number of these reports, I won't be buying one of these P320 pistols. I wouldn't feel comfortable owning one, or even being around one right now.

We've had numerous threads on this, the last one was earlier this year...lets not do it again. If there is new evidence or a court finding, that would be a reason to start a thread or reopen this one

If you don't feel comfortable with a certain gun , you're free to not buy it. It is just as valid as folks who won't buy a gun because they don't like how it looks

I will leave you with a thought: There are hundreds of reports of sightings of ghosts. Does that mean they exist?
