This is halfway to the gun I really wanted. Size-wise it is reminiscent to me of the Kahr K9, which is a fabulous pistol and fit me perfectly. I have smallish hands and slender fingers. I can just barely get all my fingers onto the P365. A 12-round flush fit P365 magazine would be nearly perfect for the smallest gun I can consistently and rapidly get a full grip on. I may have to get one anyway.
Some thoughts:
1. Hopefully the increased size can mitigate some of the small-gun reliability problems that were widespread on the internet about the P365.
2. Contra to
@Walkalong , I like the 3.5"-4" barrel over the stubby 3" barrels. In addition to some sight radius and muzzle velocity gain, I have noticed that my P365 holsters are a little less stable because there's not much gun below the belt line to balance the weight over the beltline. An extra inch would help stabilize my holster when worn a bit better.
3. What I was really hoping for a was a P365 with a 4" barrel and a 15-round capacity as a direct Glock 19 competitor.
