I was wondering how is the quality of the Sig AR rifles as well as other Sig semi auto rifles? Are they turning out a quality accurate arm worthy of the price? The AR market is loaded with options... Does Sig stand out as being an option worth consideration?

if you get the 551-A1, you get a rifle with ergonomics similar to an AR, flat top, complete rail system if you choose, but you also get better reliability and performance you cant get in an AR.. i like the sig rifles a lot

the 551-a1 does not take STANAG mags. it takes a more expensive proprietary swiss Sig mag. they rock in like on an AK.

Ive put a few hundred rounds through a friends 556. I was kind of impressed. Its like an AK that takes AR mags. Not as inherently accurate as an AR but more so than an AK.

Here's my hangup though. I shoot my rifles a lot. Its not a matter of IF a part will break but WHEN for me. If my AR or AK goes down I can rebuild it infinitely times over. If the Sig breaks I uhh... send it back to the factory? I dont like that option.

Yup, yes, and yup. They are great rifles. No experience with the 516 piston yet, but the rest are good to go!
