Sights on new Python

When I first read of the sight issue, i could not believe it. Then I checked mine and yes, it's wiggly. I called Colt and they sent name label to send the gun back to the factory. They had it for about 6 weeks and came back to me just as wiggly. I'm not certain they touched it except to send the gun back. A real disappointment but not exactly a surprise. At some point I'll upgrade to Wilson.

Regarding the less than stellar sights on the new Pythons, the company has had three
years to fix/upgrade them but apparently hasn't bothered. Glad to know the
spirit of the old and arrogant Colt company is still alive and well.

It’s like Kawasaki. They have a bike called a KLR 650. Been in production since early 90’s I believe. It has a bad design counterbalance system with the cam chain gets sloppy n stuff breaks. They REFUSE to fix it or redesign it. Even the brand new ones have the issue. Awesome bike other than the “doohickey” as they call it. Must be friends with Colt

Dragging my '69 to range this weekend, test it w the Kensights at 50 yards.
Worth restating IMHO.......Colt should have done a new version for optics use.
Think EGW or somebody, makes a mount to replace the rear sight for a reflex.
Might be for older models though.
