I joined THR, today, and now I'm joining the Sig Club, too. I have only one carry pistol, the P229 (.40 S&W), which I purchased new in 2002. I've put around 6,000 rounds through it with only one FTF (no powder in the cartridge). The pistol, itself, has been 100% reliable.

Took me a long time,but

Two years ago, I started looking for a really good shooting 9mm. I had lived 60 years beliving that 1911s and S&W revolvers were IT! Then 'someone" dropped a Sig 226 X-5 in my lap. Love at first shot! What I didn.t know was that it was pregant. Has now spawned a 220 Match, two 220 Super Match SAOs, and a German made 226. Have been threatened with commitment if any more show up!
