I'm about to order some revolver holsters and have been looking at the Simply Rugged offerings. I'm attracted to the ability to IWB and OWB plus the price is pretty reasonable.

For CCW I prefer IWB for woods or around the house I prefer OWB.

How do his holsters work as CCW holsters, especially IWB? I've mainly seen his products recommended for woods use.

Would a dedicated IWB and OWB be a better route?

I can't speak to the using one of their holsters IWB, but I have a Sourdough Pancake that I'm real happy with. It totes a GP100 6", hence the no IWB. It's holding up great. I've had it over a year and wear it at least twice a week. I like the fact that the hammer's covered and doesn't dig into my side. It's real easy to draw from and reholster as well. I dont think you'd go wrong with a Simply Rugged holster.

I have a half dozen holsters from Simply Rugged and I must say that what you see is what you get!

For woods carry I really like my Ruger 5.5" Redhawk in a simple pancake RUGERSCENIC.jpg
Sorry I can't comment on wearing a SR IWB. I just never have done that. The holsters are simple, rugged, and of high quality construction. Can't say more than that!
