I just stay indoors when there is ice on the ground. My ole 1995 Toyota T100 still gets me to the lake in the summer and to the range. It's a 2 wd, but it works for me.
Have a blessed day,

Hope your back is better. Take care!Been single digits and a glaze of ice with a dusting of... more ice here.
Slipped going out to the barn the other day but "corrected". Still put my back out.
Glad you didn't get hurt Picher.
I have a old par off boots i screwed sheet rock screws in the sol, works pretty good.I was snowblowing on Saturday (process of blowing snow using a machine called a snowblower) and went to go backwards, underneath my feet it was pure ice. I did a fancy dance and recovered. You certainly can get hurt. When carrying out in the field, fall could get you hurt and/or worse. Keep it safe. Glad your ok.
i put the screws in the tread on the side, i don't go through the sol. i use them for ice fishing and no leaks. we got about 4 inches here in walton, ill wait for morning then slid the ice off the snow.Good boots when its up to your knees in snow are excellent. The screws are a good idea, but don't want to cause a leak. Its sleeting out there right now. Be slippery in the morning.
Glad you weren't hurt!

I love my 93, it will go anywhere. ..course at over very near 300k (speedo and millage havent worked since 08) I should probably be looking at getting a spare motor prepped to drop in.

if killed for food it does not matter, i like to cut the breast out and soak them in italian dressing over night then cook on a nice hot grill.I wish I liked eating wild turkey. Maybe I could find one already stuffed? It seems I could shoot one under the bird feeder at least once a week. It's not "sporting" though.
