And some folks say that the guns made from parts fabricated in India don't shoot...,

yeah I hear they blow up too but isn't it funny when you ask to see these blown up India guns where the excusses come! but I own one and its a 20 guage and I have loaded it up to 120grs of 3f goex and no i'll effect shown still firing that India made gun today!

I do like that cut down 10 gauge. I have a Navy Arms 12 gauge that i have been considering cutting the barrels back. I have not done it....yet. It is good to read that someone has taken the step successfully.
My shortest barrel is a 14 gauge blunderbuss with a 14 in h barrel. It is a hoot to shoot (and a flintlock)

CVA 12ga Hawken style shotgun. Has a bead sight and screw in chokes. I only got 1 choke tube with it and I can't figure out what chokes it takes. Can anybody help???

Beretta 12ga O/U. This is the special edition from the factory, not a kit gun. I've had this gun for over 25 years. Nice bird gun.

This ugly brute is the Junk Yard Dog. The 10ga barrel is off of a Marlin goose gun. The action and stock are off of a CVA Blazer rifle.
I know it looks like Bubba built it but that's intentional. Walk up to the trap line with this thing and you totally blow people's concentration.

And last we have the Blaster. 75cal calvery carbine. 16in barrel with rifle sights and a captive ramrod. The perfect brush gun.

Enjoy

“I know it looks like Bubba built it but that's intentional. Walk up to the trap line with this thing and you totally blow people's concentration.” I cracked up when I read that! The ultimate sleeper trap gun... well played sir.

I know of ONE Bess musket that had a barrel rupture. The head of the umbrella organization that held the event when the musket when up from a blank, had the split barrel checked for metallurgy. It was operator error due to an incorrect procedure for a misfire that had crept into common practice. Since then, there have been no more barrel rupture events. Further, I know two Germans and a Brit who shoot them and they have all been to their respective proofing houses and the guns have passed proof.

nice well I didn't know but I bet there's other brands that has had barrel ruptures more than the India made ones! ;)

also something to add these guns from India are made with like leaf springs and car axles etc, from cars trucks that are junked so this metal is way stronger that the originals made out of wrought iron back in the days when they had to make them, so the metal is far stronger using steels today so these guns are much safer than ever before!

I have seen a video from the uk where a gun shop owner compares an original musket (or trade gun) to a modern italian replique and an indian gun. He claims the indian guns are closer if not identical to the original than the italien copies. This is due to the fact the italian manufacturs make compromises between modern production technologie and costs. Therefore they had to alter the design. As a result a modern italian gun is more likely to blow up than an indian gun due to design.

This video convinced me but i dont even own a single black powder rifle. I am into pb pistols and revolvers therefor ...

Well again, it's not an objection to the India Origin of the parts, but just how the vendor sells it to me here. ;)
