I laugh when people say a snub nosed revolver isn't accurate beyond 10 or 12 feet. A friend and I regularly shoot our S&W J frames out to 40 yards and will hit 4 out of 5 times or better on an 11" X 13" steel plate at that range. The revolvers are accurate. It's the shooter that isn't.
The people that say that are the one's that just don't take the time to train with one. Amazing how many people cannot use any double action. So much internet nonsense of super light trigger's and short resets. EDC guns getting lighter all the time. Most would not know a smooth double action if one hit them in the face.
My EDC, has yet to fail me.

It’s just hard to beat a 2” for concealment, but I have noticed that unless I’m shooting Hornady XTP 110grn, the other hollows don’t expand every time. The trade off with barrel length.
