buck00 Honestly, you are responsible for who you decide to tell about your CCW or interest in guns. This is why I generally do not tell anyone at work about my hobby or CCW license- its a need to know basis.
If the wrong people find out- you can have bad results.
Sounds like this guy was a real jerk and flaming liberal. I would have opted for a counter-question to throw him off guard:
(loudly) "No I'm not Ted, hey by the way are you still on the megan's law list??"

OK, problem #1: Yoga class? YOGA? What, was the ballet class full?
And then, another poster said that's why carrying openly is better. I don't see that at all. If you carry openly, you might as well pin a sign on yourself: 'Shoot me' or 'Grab my gun', or 'I dare you to try to disarm me'. Open carry is disgusting and boorish, unless you're a cop. It also reveals that we have failed as a society. Concealed is much more classy and substantially less intimidating. I'd rather be a hypocrite and carry concealed than carry openly. I also believe that you're more likely to survive a deadly encounter with concealed carry.
I couldn't make it to the end of the one hour DVD. I hurt for about a week after...bad. I hurt in places I didn't even know existed.
Not all Yoga is made for yuppies and svelte female twenty-somethings.

And the OP never should have revealed that he carries to someone in his 'Yoga' class that he did not consider to be a friend.

I like how so many CC'ers treat people that decode to carry openly the same way leftists treat all gun owners...

My wife and I were sitting a small coffee house just enjoying a soft drink when a man I knew from Yoga class came in and outed me. We are not friends and had talked about guns last year after a class. Well today he walks up to me and my wife and in a loud and clear voice asked "Hi, (My name) are you still carrying your gun" I didn't want to appear surprised or make a commotion. I just wanted him to shut up and go away. He did neither. So I told him sternly looking into his eyes. "We don't talk about that in public here or any where"

Why are you discussing such things with people in a ... yoga class?
Obnoxious in what manner, Dear Sage?

What you guys fail to realize is that the vast majority of people in this country are offended by open carry.
