Sound off, Utah!

Actually, we're a bit north of the border - up near McCammon. We did make it to the gun show in Sandy last weekend. Enjoyed it! We made arrangments to buy a revolver from an Idaho dealer who had a table there. Stupid law. His shop is in Pocatello, Idaho and we're from Idaho, but he couldn't sell me a handgun in Utah. :confused: I bought the gun on Monday when he got back up here. :)
 
I'm in Provo, until graduation tomorrow. Then off to Cottonwood Heights/SLC. Anyone know of some good ranges/gunstores/places to shoot near there? (I-215 & Highland Dr.)
 
SL county folks don't have very many good places to shoot. If we want to shoot outdoors we drive to Utah county. I would recommend joining www.udpl.net to shoot at the FARM or www.nudpa.org to shoot at WSA. I'm a club officer at UDPL, and we put on great matches.

Uh, yea....you're going to be pissing distance from the Holladay Gun club!
From I-215 take the 6200 South exit and go East. The road will start to veer to the right, turn left onto Wasatch. Look for GunClub Road on the right, and go right. Go all the up until you reach the range.
 
I don't really like real ranges that much either, but like the self-policing methods at holladay. I really don't like Lee Kay....
 
Tell me about it, I teach CCW classes at Lee Kay and the one shot a second rule drives me nuts.
 
Live in Utah valley, work in Sandy. Corriea, I and a few other members get together about once a week for lunch(usually wed.). Any of you in the area are welcome to join us. Just contact Corriea or myself for details.
