Hey guys a new LGS opened up by me and I decided to check it out. HUGE variety of ammo there so I decided its time to get some new SD rounds. I normally use CorBon 125gr 9mm +P. Saw they carried Speer GDs and have read good things about them decided to pick up a box. Got home and realized that they were NOT +P. How do you guys feel about this paticular round for SD? Should I use the CorBons instead to be sure? I know it sucks to be shot by anything so will the +P make that big of a difference? Pistols are 3rd gen S&W and Beretta 92FS btw.
Thanks.

In my home and carry guns I have a mix of GDHP in +P and not (not mixed in the same mag or even with the same pistols). Not really enough of a difference to be concerned about. I bought what was available at that particular time, and I have no concern with either.

will the +P make that big of a difference?
No, were talking 70fps out of a 4" barrel with that load.
That said, I only use +P for defence purposes, at least 124gr.

Lot of people were shot and many many died long before +P I would carry non +p +P doesn't make it a magic bullet Its still about placement .
Speer GD are a fine round They will work .

Love the GD 124gr +P but the non +P will work fine too. GD makes great ammo so it will get the job done just fine.
