Spyderco/Lum

I think I might be a little late on this one but I really want one of the Spyderco Lum folders with the tanto style blade. I have read some good reviews but I can't find these anywhere except for 2 used ones on e-bay. They aren't in the spyderco catalog.. anyone know where to get this knife?

You could post in the "Want to Buy" forum at Bladeforums.com. I've bought/sold/traded a lot on BFC and you could probably tempt someone to part with a spare.

They had one more of the black, serrated in stock.

Nice knife..I have one in all with in Ti..have had it for several years..and going strong..The Chinese folder is also a nice one of Bob's designs...

I have the green Chinese one too. I'd like to see the non green handled ones too,I've only ever see one w/o green handles.

Awesome knife. Check out bladeforums, sometimes people have them up for sale. That price Zak gave you would be a good deal, so I'd jump on it. I paid 85 for mine, but that was a deal off of Bladeforums and I've seen them go as high as 180ish on Ebay.

I have a black bladed combo edge Lum and I love it. It's my EDC knife. The black coating is holding up very well, and it's still sharp. I also like the fact that the blade is on an eccentric pivot, so you can adjust (or have Spyderco) the blade ramp/lock lock up. I think it's one of Spyderco's better knifes.

I'd usually say go to New Graham Knives. They have good prices and selection, and terrific service. They do appear to be sold out of the Lum tanto, though (it was $124).

thanks guys, I found one at www.order-gear.com for $129.00

It supposedly shipped on the 15th so it should be here either tomorrow or the 19th.

at order-gear they have the black ones, combo blade and plain for $129, they don't say how many they have in stock but I ordered one with no trouble or delays (so far)
