Stainless extractor??

Anyone know if there is a stainless extractor made for a Taurus PT-145 Mil PRO? With the hot summer approaching my carry gun gets sweat on it and my extractor is rusting. It is a stainless slide and I find rust inside the letters engraved on the stainless. Also, will the extractor work if the loaded chamber indicator is removed? It, too, is starting to develop rust. Perhaps I need to find a more "away from body contact" mode of carry. Any suggestions?

Different holster, perhaps? Another option is to send it off to be refinished with something like ROBAR's NP3.
