Has anyone checked the Starline site recently? I do it sporadically. Yesterday, they only showed three calibers that were readily available...none of which I could use. If I remember correctly, previous posts here inferred Starline was cranking up production.
Anyone have any knowledge of what their problem is?

Starline also makes brass for many others with proprietary case markings.
Precision Delta, Atlanta Arms are two that come to mind!

Doing a ammoseek search may turn up a dealer that has new-old stock on hand.

I bought a .327 Federal SP 101 several months ago. If I hadn’t been able to scrounge up 100 .327 cases, it would be nothing more than a .32 H&R. (Got lots of those cases.)

Zero brass for sale on the Starline site. I check every 2-3 days, zilch. No backorders, and when I called two months ago I was told to keep watching for it. Other retailers have been a miss, even the Gun Broker scalpers seem out.

I just looked, there are seven pistol calibers that they aren’t taking any orders on, and .327 is still one of them. :(

Maybe someday…

Stay safe.

I think that their "problem" is that demand has out run their production rate. It seems like they mostly deliver fairly quick if you order back ordered calibers. It seems like they are doing pretty good when you consider the supply line problems, the demand, labor shortages, ect that they are having to deal with.

Why not ask them? What problem do they have? Are you looking for some specific brass or just checking on their overall production rates?
They produce tons of brass and send it to all kinds of places, not just to some reloaders at home.
I just scanned their website and there are to many common calibers in stock to list??
9,40,45 38spl etc

I've seen plenty of 350 Legend in stores recently. Loaded ammo, not brass.

To be honest I haven't seen much brass in any of the shops I've been to in the last six months or so, and I'm always on the lookout for Starline brass. Their website does seem to have plenty of anything I want or need, and if it's not in stock it's usually back-orderable

Last year I backordered 224 Valkyrie cases in February, they shipped in May. Next, I ordered 6.8 SPC brass expecting a 2-3 month delay, but it shipped in a week. Now if only they would open up Grendel for backorder so I didn't have to buy Grendel Basic Brass...or better yet, sell 6mm ARC brass.

Like everybody else, they are overworked and underpaid;-) It's really hit or miss. Most things in backorder status takes a week or 2. Some of the more arcane stuff can be longer. IE, I've had 44-40 on backorder for several months now. I've had a dealer box of 357 on backorder for 4 or 5 months, and just got that this week (dealer boxes are last to fill, so it can be a long wait). If the status is yellow, buy it. If it's a relatively common case, it likely won't be long. If it does take a while, at least you'll be on the list and you will eventually get it.

Waiting 30+ days on 41 mag. Their response:

“Thank you for reaching out. Your order is still active in our system, however at this time it's really impossible for us to estimate any timeframes due to the volume of orders we have. Once we have the cases completed, we will process the orders in the order they were received. I apologize for the inconvenience.”

I ordered some 357sig brass as all this mess started. Took 9+ mo to get.

btw. They only keep CC info for 30 days so expect an email/contact to happen when they are ready to ship. Once they process the CC you will have the brass in ~ 3days.
That happened to me on my last order of .32 H&R.

They do make great brass, just frustrating waiting for a yellow light to place a back order.

Stay safe.

Midway actually had new starline 44 mag in stock. I put a few hundred up for the future. I like to use new brass for my max pressure hunting loads. Then use them for cast Keith's after that.

Same for 10mm

I've been waiting months for .222 brass and hey I know it's nowhere as popular as it once was but it's Starline so I'm waiting with good expectations!!

Placed my Backorder for Grendel Basic brass yesterday. Now the wait begins. After watching several videos on brass forming, in conjunction with my own experience converting 6.5 Grendel to 6mm ARC, I'm ready to give it a go. I think making 6mm ARC from Grendel basic will be even easier than converting one cartridge to another. Time will tell.

I'll provide an update when my order ships.

Currently waiting on a back order of .32 H&R I placed about 4 weeks ago. Got plenty to tide me over until it gets here.
