Update from my lone wolf barrel thread. I still havent gotten a barrel mostly due to my regular places being out of stock and I am unwilling to pay 12.00 to ship a barrel. I have been looking at the storm lake barrels and I am now considering on getting one. There were a few that recommended them but I would like to get a better Idea of what to expect as far as it being drop in and reloading cast bullets for them.

I have a Storm Lake G22 barrel, the one they say might need to be fitted. It works fine without having been fitted, shoots lead handloads and everything else I've tried.

I have a Storm Lake 9mm barrel. Perfect fit and shoots lead bullets with no problem. I had to send my Lone Wolf barrel conversion barrel back to be reamed out a bit looser to shoot reloads in it.

I have a Storm Lake conversion barrel for my GLOCK23 9MM...fits fine and shoots at least as well as the stock GLOCK .40 S&W with just a magazine change for the 9MM...

Drop the folks at Storm Lake an email or give them a call. I have done both and they have been straight up. They are located in East TN.

DAdams I see we live on opposite ends of the state. One thing that turned me on to the Storm Lake barrels is that they are in Tn. Also would I be wrong in assuming that they will fit the GEN4 g23?

I have a Storm Lake .357 Sig barrel for my M&P40c.

It was listed by MidwayUSA as being "semi drop-in", but it did drop right it and works wonderfully.

I still use the .40 S&W from my M&P, but it's nice to increase the versatility of this nice pistol.
