Stupidity on Youtube

miimooney, you don't get out in the country much do you?

My deer lease is nothing but roads like that, and it's about 15 miles away from the nearest marked road.

Anyone coming over that hill is either with me, or not supposed to be there. Due to our awesome communication skills, nobody would be coming over that hill.

I really HATE it when the people on youtube call guys "hillbillies" and "rednecks" because they have guns. Every damn video i watch has comments on it making fun of the people who enjoy shooting

It isn't the gun that makes that man in vid #2 a redneck, but a redneck he surely is.

How do you figure??

How do I figure?
Because that video is based upon a very popular "redneck" joke.

Oh, and Sharpton and Jesse Jackson always love to label people as "racist" just because they look at folks the wrong way? And the N word is made taboo too, which is good for them. However, that doesn't give them any reason or special privilege to call white folks "rednecks" or "crackers" either.

I hear the words being thrown around a lot in NYC when people are talking about "country folk". They don't like people calling them the N word, right? Okay, then stop calling others the R word and the C word, too.

I have to admit, some of these videos are entertaining. However, the fact that these people are sharing the planet with me is very scary.

The poster of that video is a white guy from Australia. Here he is...

Sharpton, Jackson and the rest of the people you want to call the N-word are not involved here.

I can't believe you are calling me racist now. Sigh. All because I explained the logic of why I don't like to hear "redneck" or "cracker" being thrown about, especially when they are used to describe someone.

Ummm... so "Redneck" is a race??

No, but that word sure is used an an insult many times. Trust me, I live in NYC, and I heard a lot of liberal hate talk on the subways before, and that word, along with the C word has been used multiple times, thats why I don't like these words.

OK, Justin, Thernlund, and everyone else, I'll stop. I was only trying to explain some logic, thats all. I apologize for thread drift.

Just FYI.. The definition of the N word is -
Slang: Extremely Disparaging and Offensive. a person of any race or origin regarded as contemptible, inferior, ignorant, etc.

Definition of R word -
# Used as a disparaging term for a member of the white rural laboring class, especially in the southern United States.

Definition of C word -
Slang: Disparaging and Offensive. a poor white person living in some rural parts of the southeastern U.S.

SO, because a people "adopted" a word, it is racist, but then directly labeling a group of white people isn't..

spec-frickin-tacular. End this debate..

N word is only racist because black people say so.

R and C are racist because they are directly targeting a race. All 3, miss the point entirely.
