Swiss vs. EU Gun Control

What happened in the 60's and 70's? The so-called "sexual revolution". Faithful adherents of religions that proscribe medical birth control continued having large families, but everyone else hopped on the bandwagon of child-raising not being a fulfilling career for women. It's no accident that "guest workers" started being imported into Germany and other European countries shortly thereafter, native citizens were either unavailable or unwilling to do the work the guest workers did. Fast forward to the Islamicization of Europe today.

You ignore the fact, that the fertility rate did not just start to decrease in the 60s and 70s, it has been decreasing for 2-300 years before that. I already explained what the reasons for that were in my last post.
You are partly right, the sexual revolution and changes in lifestyles of women play a big role in the further decrease, but even "faithful adherents of religions" had nowhere near as many children as before. Catholicism however plays next to no role in that - the decrease in fertility rate happened in catholic, protestant, mixed and atheistic countries alike.

Guest workers were a product of having less men available for work following WW II, the demand for low-skilled low-paid workers by the industry, faster and easier transport possibilities etc. etc.
The "islamisation" of Europe however is nothing that is really happening. There is an increase in muslims - correct. But apart from some areas in notorically troubled districts of some major cities, islam is not present in public in Europe. I am not saying, there is no problem with groups and clans anywhere - but the whole issue is reported very bloated abroad and even in our own media.

Poor Catholics - forced by those bloody hippies to use condoms... I feel your pain dear! :)
P.S. According to the late Edward Izzard, Catholics follow the teachings of Cathol... Maybe he got it wrong somehow leading straight to all that mess, don't you think?

So, as long as the assaults and riots only happen in the capital cities there isn't a problem. Lovely. It's true that Austria has been hit far less hard than Germany, Sweden, England and France, but last time I checked those countries were still in Europe.

oday we have a similar situation as most industrialized countries have: less than 2 births per woman and therefore a decrease in population without immigration. This development is similar throughout central europe (and most of the 1st world)
I'd only point out that the Czech natality/death rate is roughly at 0 (Czech Republic being 90% atheist country).

More importantly: The European Commission is rumored to try to do a big push at the EP IMCO Committee today. Large mailing campaign happening in the Czech Republic towards MEPs.

One MEP got so many mails on the topic that he publicly voiced opinion that it must be a coordinated bot attack against his mail box...

I would really appreciate it, if you do not twist my words. There is an enormous difference between a "problem" and the "Islamisation of europe". I never said, there ist no problem anywhere in europe - I said don't be fooled into believing, there is a takeover of radical islam througout Europa. There are incidents, but they are local and not coordinated and widespread

It is the same in Austria - natality/death rate is about 0, but the fare more important fertility rate (children per czech woman) is at 1,45 in Czech Republic and 1,44 in Austria. Without immigration, both countries will see a decrease in population by 2030-2040, when the 60s and 70s born are starting to die.

On topic: they have been for the last weeks. They communicated to the parlament about this upcoming pushes, also at the Western Balkans conference on 15./16. december. I sincerely hope, people do not think, everything is over and stop mailing there representatives throughout europe!
