I just got my Taurus MILLENNIUM PRO PT111 9mm PISTOL about a month ago. I went to the range to try it out and really enjoyed it. Just checking to see if anyone else has the same gun and what are your thoughts about it?

Howdy and welcome. Have a PT111 Mil/pro also. Love the size,trigger,accuracy. I use mostly standard pressure 115gr. JHPs by several ammo companies. The 145 gr.JHP Silver Bear shoots to point of aim and is my accuracy load. Silver Bear in that weight is hard to find now. Have used some +P ammo,but that was in the velocity range recommended by the manual. There are +Ps in the 115gr-124gr whose speed matches recommendations but use it sparingly due to wear,tear,and longer recovery times between shots. For us budget people Uncle Mikes and Bianchi make holsters that will fit. I use nylon when possible. It wears like Kydex but protects from sweat better than leather. 12 shots and one up the spout should be more than enough for most purposes. Do carry a spare magazine though. To quote: One can never have enough ammo. Not a pocket gun,but then most aren't or as powerful. Enjoy and good luck.
