Tell me about your 9mm Luger loads with Titegroup

The Lee volumetric conversion tables for their powder discs show .3388

ants is right. You need a scale--fast.

A Lee scale is awkward but cheap. With careful set-up, it's accurate.

I have been reloading 9mm Luger using 4.3gr of Titegroup using Berry's 115gr plated bullets. When I reloaded them on my friend's press with his 25+ year old Lee dies they shot clean with no powder marks. Since I started reloading them on my own brand new press with brand new Lee dies they leave a 'rocket exhaust' ring of burnt powder on the mouth of the case. I have several questions about this new development. Is it going to damage the pistol over time or does it just look bad? What causes it and how can I fix it? Thanks!

I've had good luck with 4.6gr Titegroup and 115gr Zero or Montana Gold FMJ & 1.135 OAL out of my Ruger P95. I didn't chrono them, but should be a little over 1100fps.

I went ahead and got a scale. Glad I did. Eyeballing those Lee scoopers was very inconsistent, and i was running just up to if not past the 4.9 grain Titegroup recommended loads. I started out pressing a few JRN magtech 115gr ball I had with a few 4.2, 4.4, and 4.6 grain Titegroup loads with a 1.133 - 1.136 OAL. going to test them out this weekend. looking for a lighter target load for plinking a lot with. just enough to cycle my glock 17 reliably. it will take some learning to actually get decent groups i would guess, but just getting a powder load that works seems like a good step. Not sure about clean holes versus powder ring holes, if they were from the same powder. seems like one may have been loaded hotter and had more unburnt powder following it???? were they at the same range of fire?
