bds, please add my name to the drawing for the nickle 40s&w brass. It seems nobody else wants the nickle brass, and I think it is time to try out some SD load development for the first time. The nickle brass will also add a little bling to my 40s&w lineup.

I would love to get one of these in 30-06 but I can use the 243win, I will look around and see if I got anything to add to here again, maybe some cast bullets for the 45acp or try out my new LEE 1oz 12ga slug mold, had it for a year or so and do not think I have even tried it out yet.

If anyone is interested in either of these two to try out before buying a mold let me know and that will help me decide which one to PIF here.

Boltlover. Received my bullet mold w/accys. Thank you! I'll get your .270 cases out asap. This week(work) is busy already. Just got back from 7hr service call. 10 minutes on site to fix the problem. Rest was driving.

Scooter22, I just received the nickel brass and everything is as promised. Thanks again for the generosity.

Also a big thanks to bds again for managing this PIF thread.
 
BDS I will put up some .22 Bullets (all one item)
20 Extreme 55 gr FMJ
20 Hornady "Match" 52gr BTHP #2249
30 Federal Fusion 62 gr pulled (from RMR)
and some .223 range brass if whoever gets the bullet is using them in .223 (or could use the brass)

Lets make the date a couple weeks from now say 8/21.
 
I feel bad that nobody wants those sabots. :uhoh:
I have used smaller diameter bullets recently using some of them I still have loose and they were 230 gr alox coated .451 lead RN with a dab of muzzleloader lube paste to keep them from being loose and they were snug enough without the lube.
Using the .458 lead HP bullets previously were a pain anyway to ram down the barrel after the first shot fired.
So I would say that these could probably and more easily be used with .454 lead bullets or balls and work even better than with .458 diam.

Now my disclaimer is that I am not recommending anything specific to use these sabots with. You are on your own but my experience last time out proved for me that .458 is a tad too tight in my Traditions inline 50 Cal. I just wish somebody would take them and use them. either that or delete them at some point and I'll come up with something else to PIF.
 
TheGerman- Received the primer catchers you manufactured just fine. My apologies for being so delinquent in acknowledging your generosity, I've been laid up fairly severely with health issues. I really look forward to installation and use of this item. The spare I will PIF to a buddy who's very interested in trying it out. Thank you again, CCW
