Ok, the "THR Special" linotype deal is on the website. We're keeping it kind of secretive as it is not intended for the general public at the price we're offering THR folks. Hit our site, go to the "Specials" category (left hand side of the main page) and you'll find it. There is no photo, no description posted there. Pretty secretive, right?
We are able to package 35 net lbs. of this lino into the thick special inner cartons we purchased today, which fit nicely and securely with packing into the USPS flat-rate box. So, as promised, the special THR price per lb. is $1.40. Multiply $1.40 by 35 lbs. per flat-rate carton and you're at $49.00. Apply the regular THR discount code and 5% gets whacked off that. Add $10.85 shipping (the shopping cart does that at checkout, and allows you to purchase insurance for another $2.00) and you're good to go.
There is no limit on the number of 35-lb. cartons you can buy. Well, none imposed from this end. Your banker and/or your wife might impose a limit or two, I suppose.
Anyhow, that's the deal.
And if you don't know the discount code, please don't call or email asking for it. We're busy. The whole idea of creating a special discount for THR members was to encourage participation in this wonderful set of forums and any active participant ought to be able to figure out how to search for a thread involving a "THR Discount Offer", right?
We will begin shipping tomorrow. Delivery to most locations would occur two days after that (Friday.) We have 70 cartons-worth available (we're keeping the rest for our DLATW R&D.)
