Sorry for the delay. It came in yesterday, and I got it put together.
Side note... a MONKEY can put a stripped AR lower together if I can. I had no trouble and didn't even launch the pivot pin spring into the void.
Tools used: ( not standard at all)
- Claw hammer
- Masking tape
- an Allen wrench I used as a pin guide and pin punch
- a 3 blade pocket knife that I used to hold springs in place
- a flat-head screw-driver to install the pistol grip
- a piece of junk wood to put under the trigger guard tangs when I hammered in the pins.
The only proprietary tool I used was a CAR stock wrench. It makes it easier, you probably want one anyway, and they cost $3.95.
Yes... that's all you really need. And it WAS that easy.
My bad news... they accidently sold out of the YHM flip up forearm mounted front sight. I decided to contact YHM directly and I have one being mailed out on Monday. So when I post the pics tomorrow morning, don't laugh.
At any rate, I am VERY impressed with the kit, and the end results. Pics will be incoming in the morning.
