Can anyone tell me the difference between the The Marlin 1894C & 1894CS? I looked all over the net and can't find the answer. It's not on the Marlin site either.
I recently bought a used 1894C which turned out to be an 1894CS. It was manufactured in 1983 and has a 6 round tube instead of the current 9 round tube and has the older microgroove barrel too. I just can't find out what the difference is between the 2 rifles.
BTW, anyone who is on the fence and can't decide if they should buy a .357 Magnum lever gun or not, DO IT. This carbine is a lot of fun to shoot!!
