Thank you. They are just standard Ruger black laminated wood grips.

I paid 150.00 for my stainless ROA. Looks just like yours with wood grips. That was about 10 years ago. Here's my new to me old army, I haven't fired her and appears to be unfired altogether, I added the Ajax pearlites just to see, probably have a set made. Still on the fence didn't know it had never been shot, came with plastic box but no papers so not sure what value it would hold. Have seen rough used blue ones go for more than I paid for this one.View attachment 789734
I have these old aftermarket "black" laminated grips. They are very nice but they lack the Ruger medallion. As you can see they look quite different but in a nice way. They have an olive green tinge to them (more so in person) so I'm not so sure I'd call them black grips. I'd like to see pics of your laminated grips on your ROA because I've heard others say that their Ruger factory black laminate grips have more silver-gray in them instead of black.

The smoked grips found themselves on my Single Six too. Not an appropriate pic for the ROA thread but thought I'd show how those old grips made their rounds. BTW, this photo was taken in jest as I was always humored by the numerous pics I had seen others take with their bad-ass firearms always poised with an "aggressive" looking hunting/skinning knife. I figured my analogous comparison was my Single Six pair with a butter knife to their terrifying gun/knife photo.

They're Ebay finds, and actually for the Blackhawk, a lot cheaper than going to a Bisley grip, which I prefer, made by Taylor's.Don't think I've seen that style of grip on a Ruger. Where did it come from? Talking about the ROA with the damascus knives.
Just added a Kirst .45 Colt conversion cylinder and Belt Mountain Quick Change cylinder pin and latch to my 5 1/2 " Old Army. I prefer shooting cap and ball, but thought this might be fun to try. Need to reload some black powder cartridges and try it out. For the curious, I just unscrewed the front loading lever latch from under the barrel and can easily put it back in for cap and ball shooting.
