Getting hangnails actually happens to me as opposed to having to use a corkscrew or a fish scalar. Lol

Does anyone have any experience with the Wenger Swiss clipper?

And are there any other multi tools with a nail trimmer?

Thanks.

I had the sweetest pair of victorinox nail clippers that my mom gave me many years ago but I lost them last summer..... and it seems they no longer make them.

If you are talking about the one that has scissors , nail file, etc and nail clippers combined be careful. I got one and the clippers were too weak to cut my nails. Had to return it. I have thick nails tho. I like the concept but they need stiffer metal. For me anyways.

I have a Wenger knife with clippers, scissors, knife, and file and love it. It has a soft textured black finish on the outside which keeps it from getting too scratched up on my keychain. I use it all the time, and it is one of the most useful things I've paid for in the last few years.

That’s the “soft touch” coating.
How long have you had it on your keychain?

I was figuring on staying clear of the soft touch coating because I figured it would wear off.
Maybe it’s tougher than I thought.

that's a victorinox nail trimmer?
does it have anything else or just the trimmer?

Well that's one made by some other german company I believe. Victorinox doesn't seem to make them anymore. I saw a german made one and it was the same but the cuts on the nail file were poorly done and no where near as effective as the victorinox that I lost.

They are very low profile sleek clippers with an excellent clipper head, and on the back of the top piece it is cut for filling and then there is the point for cleaning under the nails.

I've got one about like that last, only it looks like it maybe has a bigger file area. Has an odd file surface: kind of micro-stippled, giving a surface texture that reminds me of those emery boards my wife uses on her nails. The clippers work well, but while the file does an adequate job, I don't know how well that surface will hold up in the long run.

Hadn't shopped around; just added one in as an impulse while buying other stuff at these folks' store location, so for all I know, this is crazy expensive:
