The worst ammunition you've ever shot?

I bought some Ultramax remanufactured .223, 55 gr. bullet. As I recall it chronographed at around 2850 fps. I started calling it Ultramin.

Herters .223 (steel cased from Cabelas) was so wimpy it wouldn't cycle my AR reliably.

Tula. Tula is awful. I shot 7.62x39 Tula in an AK and only about every other round went off. I have reloaded with Tula primers and they often require two or three primer strikes before they'll go off. I'll spend an extra cent per primer and get CCIs.

Tula primers, in my experience, are harder than any of the domestic brands. I've tried small rifle primers in my XD45 (with SPP .45acp brass, obviously) and the only brand that I've tried that won't ignite on the first strike is Tula. That includes CCI 400, CCI 450, Winchester SRP, Remington 7 1/2, and Tula 223M. I bring this up because if you've had a lot of Tula that won't go off on the first strike but will go off on a second strike, you may want to consider replacing the springs in your rifle. They might be a little worn out, causing your issue.

My son had some expensive DoubleTap ammo in .35 Whelen and he had several of them have leaks burn through the base wall upon firing. When I told the manufacturer about it they were able to duplicate it and sent me back an email saying they were changing to Norma brass. Here is a picture:
