Think this is my next scope. Vortex diamondback.

I have a Sezzle account. I can pay over 6 months interest free.
Im going to go with the EBR-2C MOA recticle. Not sure on what magnification yet.

Whichever magnification you chose, get the 50mm objective if you are using for hunting.

Ordered the 50mm. It's for my range 30.06. I have a Centerpoint 50mm on it now. I'll move that to my 760 30.06. The old scope on it the zoom adjustment is getting loose then gets tight. The 760 is my hunting rifle.

Have a careful look before mounting it, I’ve found the Diamondback Tactical has somewhat short eye relief. 30-06 is getting close to a brow bruiser without enough distance.

The diamond back has close to a 4 inch eye relief. So yes defiantly will be checking that out. Arken Optics will be one to look into as i keep going on my upgrade task. Thanks for the recommendation.

I measured it as much shorter on a 4-12x (I think) which was returned and replaced with a Sig.

Good luck and I hope they improved on them. I have an older Diamondback and was not happy with it at all. There are better choices in that price range IMO...ymmv...

Friend of mine has the 4-16dbt and is quite happy with it. I personally found the eye relief a little short, but optically it was pretty nice and the adjustments were true and pretty solid.

I think as a package they are a decent optic. Specially when they go on sale in the next 300 range.

The scope came already. I had to look through it right away lol. Checked eye distance too. I can put my fist between the scope and my eye and see through it. So there should be no scope eye.
