If you Google "Missouri Bullet", a few items down points you to this forum. Hence the non-members getting a discount. Maybe we need to supply our THR user name with the order?
Motownfire, I went in and manually credited your card back the 5%. Try and keep up next time, ok?Ahhhhhh crap. Oh well I will use it on my next order. I just ordered 1000 of these http://www.missouribullet.com/results.php?category=5&secondary=11 . Thanks for giving the forum members the 5% discount, every little bit counts.

Same here. Figured I'd try some lead in 45acp. Or at least have some on hand.gearheadpyro said:Just put my first order in with Missouri.
A question, though. I get a lot of build-up of lube, and a decent amount of lead, in my seating die. I replaced the Lee die with one from Dillon because it's far easier to clean, but the problem persists. I'm pretty sure the cases are belled enough, as I don't see any bullet shaving, and the build-up is deep into the die. Spot checks show a gradual shortening of OAL, so I have to clean out the die after every 100-150 rounds. Any thoughts?
crashclint,
Welcome back into reloading. I load a lot of .45 ACP (10K+ a year), and I have personally found WW231 hard to beat. There are other great powders as well (I have, and still use Bullseye, for nearly 30 years).
4.8gns of 231 pushing a 200 LSWC Missouri Bullet is a one-hole load @25 yards in an accurized .45. Also one of the cleanest powders with a grease-grooved cast bullet I have tried.
Poor wife. She went into great detail explaining how she struggled to get the package inside the door.
Non-lubed bullets would make good dummy rounds.
But don't use them? I think I may have loaded one or two of these, is this going to be a problem?
