The Argentines did convert a few from 7.65 Mauser to 7.62 NATO, but Ive never seen one of those in the flesh.

Argentine Navy model. Most rare of all the models if I ain't mistaken. I think you could use FAL mags in that gun.

I use to have an 8mm. Rolls Royce battle rifle. Very finely made for a military grade weapon. Lotta nice machining work. Great shooting rifle, so soft on the shoulder considering that power but more for a collector than a go-to primary user. Sold. No regrets there. It's one rifle you will never regret owning either.

Oh absolutely! I’ve had mine go full auto on me at the range. Had to be at least 800rpm of 8mm mauser
