I decided to go back to carrying a .45, so I bought a Smith and Wesson 4" Shield 45. And I've already decided that it's going to need new sights. My 1911 has some Trijicons that I've honestly never loved. My G19 has factory night sights that I find acceptable. My Shield 9 does not have night sights.

I know I'm going to replace the sights on my Shield 45. I suspect that I'll replace them on my Shield 9 if I like the ones on my Shield 45. If I really, truly love them, I may go ahead and swap out my G19 and 1911 sights.

Here are the sights I'm considering: https://www.truglo.com/firearms-han...ts.asp?catid=E5FDB84FE8F74C239330C1841BDD3D5E

Anybody already got 'em? Pros and cons?

Over a period of years I've had night sights by different suppliers. The TruGlo Tritium Pro Night Sights I now have are mounted on multiple handguns. I have no regrets. I have my own handgun range on the property and fire those handguns under different lighting conditions PM to AM. I like the U-Notch rear sight and the front sight with the white ring around the Tritium insert is easily acquired under all lighting conditions.

Here are the sights I'm considering:
For what it's worth those are the ones I bought for my G19, so whatever research you and I conducted we arrived at the same conclusion. I haven't installed them yet though.

Mine came with the standard Glock plastic sights. I thought I'd give them a try, but decided I don't like them.

I have Tru Glo TFX sights on 2 of my Glocks. I really like them. These are fiber optic night sights.
I like the white ring vs the orange ring on the front sight. Easier to pick up in low light.

I opened the Truglo package and was pleased to find it includes not only a new fastener for the front sight but an additional fastener in the world's tiniest Ziploc bag, marked "for Gen 4". Oh and a hex wrench for the rear sight set screw.

I installed the rear sight without any difficulty but I don't have a tool for the front sight so that will have to wait. I'm planning not to use the Truglo front sight installation tool with its knurled handle, but a hex nut driver so I can measure torque. Truglo specifies 10 in lb which isn't very much. Breaking that fastener seems to be a common affliction.

I've been using them for years. On the plus side they're durable, as I've shot more rounds rounds than I can count using them and have never had a problem and they've retained their brightness. I installed the first set of TFO's 5 or 6 years ago, I believe. I've installed the Pro version on a couple of guns but prefer the TFO's as they're easier for me to see, but that's a personal preference.
