Here is a quote from an AP Story about the Newtown killer. He was apparently well armed considering what they found in his glove compartment of his car.

"A loaded 12-gauge shotgun was found in the glove compartment of the Honda Civic Lanza drove to the school with two magazines containing 70 rounds of Winchester 12-gauge shotgun rounds."

Honda Civic must have a pretty good sized glove compartment.

Amazing... I seriously am to dumbfounded to laugh. I want to. But these are the people bringing us the news of what's going on in the world.......Scary.

Remember, these are the same people that are reporting that Big Sis is just trying to save the taxpayer money when she buys ammo.

I knew they liked to brag about "Best in Class Interior Space" but based on that information I must admit to being impressed.

You beat me to the post, everyone in the shop was so busy laughing at the shear stupidity of the article, we forgot to be mad at the ignorance of the reporter. How can this person even employed to report the news?

;)Well, it's that shoulder thing that goes up that makes it able to be concealed inside that glove compartment.

A 35 round extended mag tube must be really, really really really long. Did it also have a bayonet lug so he could dismount cavalry?

A mid 80s Buick Riviera didn't have a glove box that big, and I could keep all of my cassete tapes in there and still had room for maps, breath freshener, and accoutrements in case my date went very well.

Honda has gone around physics to offer you endless space in the glove box of the new Civic.

Is it possible they edited the linked online article? I'm looking at the 5th paragraph where it talks about the shotgun and not seeing where it states it was in the glove compartment?

I consider myself an Enfield conoisseur.....

but WTH is a ".323-caliber Enfield Albian bolt-action rifle"?? :banghead:

First off, that explains why it was left in the car. The punk couldn't have lifted the thing with "70 rounds" in it. Second, that would be a great sales pitch for Honda! "...glove box large enough for a SAGA 12 gauge with a 70 round magazine!" So much for basing car interiors on golf clubs.
