TWO DEER W/ ONE BULLET?

I passed up a nice shot on a big buck this year at about 80 yards, because there were 2 deer moving around on the other side of him, I was hunting with a 58 caliber muzzle loader and I know from past experience that the 530 gr minnie will easily punch thru both shoulder of a large deer and be more than lethal to anything standing on the other side and given that I only had 1 tag, didn't opt for the second special tag, I waited, but hunting time ended before I could get a clear shot.

Have heared of such instances, many times and some turned out others didn't.

Spent an entire week in S.D. hunting prairie dogs. Total confirmed kill tallied over 1500. It got so easy on singles we started going for the mulitples. We had about 75 shots that accounted for doubles, less than a dozen triples, and weswitched to some FMJ Hornady's to get a single quadruple. I didn't get the shot on the quadruple. but I watched my buddy do it, and if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I would not have beleived it.

I did it one time also It was getting dusk and i had a doe come into view i shot it thru the neck and when i went over to get it there were 2 both shot in the exact spot layed over in the same direction I even took a picture of it.

kinda odd

I don't know if I've ever seen this as a forum topic, and then have seen it on two hunting sites in one day!

As an intentional thing it probably ranks right up there with head shots as a general bad idea, I have done it by accident. (shot a big buck, didn't know the little buck was behind. Big buck got across the road, where "neighbor" tagged him :fire: so I tagged the "little one" - still a 7 point - more to this story :banghead: :cuss: )
